Guest Relation Officer

Proudly represents our hotel and country to guests from over the world, treat our guests and colleagues with respect and work hard together to deliver the highest quality of service to all
Be knowledgeable about our loyalty program (SPG)
Read logbook to follow up and report to FO shift leader
Give out the accurate and update information to the guests both internally and externally and also update into the PMS system such as airline information, transportation, sports, current events, excursions and restaurant recommendation
Providing transportation services through the hotel limousine service
Coordinate with the bellmen for the group arrival and departure as well as delivering messages up to the guest rooms every 10 minutes happening in the hotel
Always provide a high level of service in a friendly and efficient ways to the guests
Shift work will be required.
Update guest history profile
Be aware of all emergency procedures such as fire alarms, emergency situation and bomb threats
Assist the guest with relevant to airline business i.e. lost luggage, ticketing and reconfirmation etc.
Provide a packaging service and ensure the parcel record book updated
Greet and welcome the guests upon their arrival and departure and ensure that proper services are given for any inquiries, check in and check out

Job Knowledge/Skill:
Be able to give the prompt service to all guest but should not exceed the authorization of the front office attendants and give good cooperation with all levels of personnel within the hotel and the guests.
Must be resilient, even-tempered and calm under challenges
Happy to talk to guests when questioned about any information in the city and country in order to provide the update and correct information for the guests.
Excellent communication skills - Fluent in oral/written English and Vietnamese
Friendly and Outgoing Personality
Must have a friendly and outgoing personality and be genuinely interested in meeting and serving new guests from all over the world. Culturally sensitive
Minimum of one-year experience in similar position will be advantage
Education: Vocational or diploma certificate requirement or bachelor degree.
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in 3,4 or 5-star international chain hotels (1 years in same position is preferred).
