Guest Service Representative

The Guest Service Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors. The role focuses on greeting guests, assisting with membership inquiries, promoting club events, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. GSRs are crucial in fostering guest loyalty by providing personalized service and ensuring guests feel valued.
Duties may include but are not limited to:

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a welcoming atmosphere throughout their visit.
Ensure the reception and guest service areas are clean, organized, and presentable.
Support the Senior Host and Assistant Host Manager in organizing and executing special events.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Follow all company policies and procedures, particularly related to guest service and privacy.
Build rapport with guests, particularly frequent visitors, to foster loyalty and repeat visits.
Keep the membership database updated by registering new members and managing existing records.
Promote club events, loyalty programs, and special offers to guests, encouraging participation.
Assist in preparing and distributing promotional materials related to events and club services.
Help guests with membership registration and ensure all information is accurately recorded in the system.
Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, or in- person promptly and courteously.
Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate them to the Senior Host or Assistant Host Manager when necessary.
Maintain knowledge of all club promotions, events, and services to provide accurate information to guests.
Assist guests with inquiries about membership, promotions, and club services.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

Availability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
A high school diploma is required; additional education in hospitality or related fields is a plus.
Experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a customer service team.
Proficiency in English; additional languages such as Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean are an asset.
Knowledge of hospitality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
2 to 3 years of experience in a customer service or hospitality role, with a focus on guest relations.
