Scope of work
The COO responsibilities will include overseeing the day- to- day operations of the companies, (excluding spirits production); ensuring that all sales activities (retail, HORECA, off trade wholesale, sub distributors), Marketing activities (online and offline), operations processes and procedures are running smoothly and efficiently, and that the organization is meeting its strategic and financial objectives. This is a crucial leadership team member role responsible for making critical decisions that impact the company&039;s growth and success.
Developing strategic plans
● Work closely with the BOD, BOM to develop and implement business strategies that align with the company&039;s goals and objectives.
● Act as a key member of the leadership team, making critical decisions that impact the company&039;s growth and success
Accelerate and boost sales and marketing
● Oversee and work closely with the Sales and Brand Management team to maximize sales in the domestic market: Cask sales, Retail sales, HORECA and Wholesale Sales including Ecototes
● Increase online sales through webstore activities and other initiatives
● Oversee Marketing activities, Events both online (Digital / Social Marketing) and offline
● Support the Chairman and BOD in developing international markets providing expertise and network
Operations and process management
● Identify areas of the business where operational processes can be improved; develop and implement plans to optimize these processes.
● Identify new business opportunities, building partnerships, and expanding the company&039;s reach.
● Oversee day- to- day operations, including managing teams across various functions (Sales, Finance, Marketing, Legal, HR Admin, etc- excluding spirits production) and ensuring that the company is operating efficiently and effectively.
● Ensure regulatory compliance and oversee legal and compliance- related matters.
Financial planning and analysis
● Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business, including developing and implementing risk management strategies
● Manage financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring that the company is operating within budgetary constraints.
● Manage and optimize the company&039;s resources, including staffing, equipment, and technology, to ensure that they are being used effectively and efficiently
Leadership and Team Management
● Build and lead a high- performing team of employees, setting clear goals and expectations, providing regular feedback, and creating a positive and engaging work culture.
● Guide, challenge our leaders and subject matter experts to ensure our teams&039; strategies align to the objectives and goals of the company
