Your responsibilities:
Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed test documentation, including test cases, test results, and test plans, to ensure transparency and traceability of testing activities.
Test Environment Management: Set up, manage, and maintain test environments, ensuring accurate test data is available for various testing scenarios.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers, offering advice on test approaches, tools, and best practices.
Cross- Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure testing activities align with product releases and business goals.
Continuous Integration & Delivery: Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into continuous integration (CI) pipelines and support agile development practices.
Automation Development: Build, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using industry- standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, etc.) to improve test efficiency and coverage.
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and recommend new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve overall testing effectiveness and team productivity.
Manual Testing: Perform hands- on manual testing to identify issues, validate functionalities, and verify defect fixes in web and mobile applications.
Defect Management: Identify, log, and manage defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
