Mô tả công việc

Manage and build team member

Plan the appropriate human resource based on the R&D workload
Develop job description and provide KPI criteria for employees
Manage and train employees
Participate in recruiting and directly selecting employees for R&D department
Coordinate with HR team to create a professional and friendly working environment for R&D department

Manage R&D project

Be responsible for updating customer requirements on new products and new materials for production
Assess potential risks affecting product quality when customers use it. Conduct inspections and evaluations of products and materials according to customer requirements, and to prevent quality risks.
Research and propose new production methods for old and new products to reduce production costs.
Actively seek new alternative materials to reduce production costs, ensure safety, health and other standards required by customers.
Actively seek out technologies and production methods from competitors, craft villages, other companies, other countries... to apply production improvements more effectively and diversely.
Monitor all the company’s new product project that R&D department’s in charge of, ensuring the project take place in the right quantity, quality and schedule.
Be responsible for handing over new products that the R&D department is in charge of for production department, risk analysis, prevention plans, production process, packaging process, customer quality criteria and sample documents …
Supervise the storage of goods in the assigned area

Cost management:

Review prices before the accounting department sends prices to the sales department or customers.
Propose solutions to cut production costs and reach customers&039; desired prices.
Analyze the production cost of each new product, production process, materials used, packaging costs, error rate, rework...

Communication:

Evaluate suppliers on quality, price and schedule before handing over to the supply department.
Encourage the creativity of R&D members.
Establish and maintain 5S for R&D department
Evaluate the effectiveness of innovations and combine them with production to test on small models before deploying for mass production.
Standardize working processes, reporting systems, communication channels of the R&D department with the production department, directors, sales department and customers.
Establish, maintain, and develop relationships with departments, suppliers, and customers on issues related to the R&D department.
Make and manage budget for the R&D department.
Standardize documents and document storage processes of the R&D department, put those forms and processes into practice, test and maintain them.

Yêu cầu công việc

Qualification: University
Major: Mechanical, Engineering, Product Development, Quality Management or related fields
Knowledge: Experienced in handicrafts, traditional products, high- end and luxury goods
Diploma: Bachelor and more
Skills:
- Analytical and leadership skills
- Good communication skills in English, French is an advantage
- Flexibly handling situation skills, good problem detection and resolution.
- Creative ability
Capacity/Attitude:
- Careful, meticulous, persistent in work.
- Able to work independently and teamwork
- Have a high sense of responsibility and be proactive and creative in assigned work.
- Resistant to high pressure at work.
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
