JOB BRIEF:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will bear the principal day- to- day responsibility for planning, executing, overseeing, and controlling all financial activities within the fashion retail company. This includes direct oversight of accounting, financial management, budgeting & forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, deal analysis and negotiations, as well as managing investor relationships. Additionally, the CFO will ensure compliance with partnership agreements and play a key role in securing private and institutional financing.
MAIN TASKS:
- Effectively communicate financial performance and strategies to the board, investors, and stakeholders, building strong relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Directs the Finance Department in developing appropriate borrowing and manages banking relationships, oversees cash management processes to ensure proper cash availability and best practices in cash management.
- Implement robust risk management practices to safeguard the financial health of the company and identify/mitigate financial risks.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, and collaborate with other department heads on cross- functional initiatives.
- Optimize cash flow and working capital management to support operational efficiency, evaluating investment opportunities for strategic decision- making.
- Play a pivotal role in preparing the company for its Initial Public Offering (IPO) in 2026.
- Analyzes financial statements and prepares reports and recommendations to Top Management and the Board of Directors concerning financial performance.
- Develop and execute the company&039;s financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and local regulations.
