What does a successful Operations Intern look like?

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supply Chain
Planning
Support to conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
Consider forecast and inventory to suggest purchasing.
Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
Procurement:
Document and assist with the purchasing process.
Research and evaluate prospective suppliers.
Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
Warehousing & Distribution:
Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately.
Prepare goods for transfer requests from stores, events, and e- commerce channels.
Document work processes, suggest periodic process improvement
Ensure daily warehouse activity is aligned with the SOPs.
Event Catering
Create new procedures (if needed) for organizing events
Create and manage documents required for the events
Coordinate and integrate all other operations within an event
Manage the cost of consumable materials in each event to ensure the target margin.
Resolve escalated participants&039; enquiries regarding the events.
Assist with setting up and tear down of events
Input event PL and Check SCM
Find new prospects, consult customers to close the deals

Manage escalated on- site issues
Work with other departments to ensure that all operational requirements of the events are fulfilled.
Sales
Conduct market research to find and connect PJ’s with potential business partner(s).

Plan monthly sales and give recommendations
Work with external partners (food delivery platforms, ecommerce marketplaces, suppliers) to update menus, pricing, product information, etc.
Assist in planning and execution of promotions to drive sales potential
Marketing
Plan and write content on channels; respond to customer comments and messages on social platforms
Document work processes, suggest periodic process improvement
Coordinate with the Sales team to unify monthly and quarterly promotions and campaign schemes.
Conduct content planning and execute F&B events/promotions/ campaigns.
Research and curate informative and engaging content for website, blog, social channels
Review performance on social channels and suggest solutions for improvement periodically.
Provide support for the design team with photography
Design
Take photos for social posts
Collaborate with the Marketing team to generate engaging F&B contents
Design posts, edit short videos or gifs for social networks
Design POSM (Point of Sales Material) for PJ’s Coffee
Document work processes, suggest periodic process improvement
HR
Assist and propose improvements for Barista and Intern recruitment
Document work processes, suggest periodic process improvement
Organise and facilitate employee engagement activities
Research and design training courses

What you need
A proactive and adaptive team player
A genuine passion for coffee and delighting customers
Well- organised, detail and result- oriented, and able to multitask
Comfortable with speaking and writing in English
Proficient in various computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite, inventory management, order fulfilment, etc.
Knowledge in F&B industry and/ or customer service
A willingness to learn and grow
