Data Analytics Trainee
The Data Analytics Trainee will be a part of the Data Analytics team, and work to supplement the analytics and visualization contributions towards data- driven decisions at MoMo. This candidate should enjoy managing high volumes of commercial and operational data and be comfortable providing analyses and insights. They will have the opportunity to directly influence the product development of the company, and their conclusions will have a wide- ranging impact on the commercial decisions of the business.
What you will do
Make ad- hoc reports and data analysis duties or other responsibilities as required;
Collaborate with the internal team to consolidate requirements, understand business needs, and deliver projects in a timely manner;
Monitor data quality to ensure data sources are reliable and relevant to the team’s purposes;
Build, develop, and maintain automated dashboards to monitor performance metrics;
Execute types of projects, including analyzing customer segmentation to enhance user acquisition/ engagement/ conversion/ retention and reporting standardization, gamification, A/B testing and experimentation analysis for product development and optimization;
Analyze complex data to drive insightful findings and translate them into meaningful, actionable recommendations for our stakeholders;
Design, implement solutions and best practices with automation and scalability in mind, to empower end- users to become self- reliant;
What you will need
Ability to query with SQL or other SQL- based platforms;
Strong spoken and written communication skills to explain findings clearly to the internal team as well as stakeholders;
Solid technical/functional knowledge in statistics.
Ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of data with high attention to detail;
Experience with Business Intelligence/ Analytics/ Statistics tools and languages (Google BigQuery, Google Data Studio, R, Python, etc.);
Have excellent analytical skills and problem- solving aptitude;
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management; or a University degree with quantitative/statistics coursework such as Business, Economics, Marketing, or relevant fields;
Ability to visualize findings, create meaningful insights, and arrive at actionable recommendations;
Comfort working with a team collaboratively and independently;
Self- learner and quickly adapt to new knowledge and technical skills;
