JOB DESCRIPTION
Ensure compliance with local laws, including managing licenses, employee matters, and data protection in Vietnam, and support compliance with employment laws in regional markets (Malaysia, Philippines, Greater China).
Conduct legal horizon scanning and implement changes in employment laws, liaising with external counsel when needed.
Manage employment disputes and provide strategic legal advice on employment- related issues, such as policies, performance management, employee relations, and legal training.
Provide day- to- day legal support for Vietnam and Cross- Border business segments, including drafting and reviewing contracts (service agreements, employment contracts, NDAs, etc.) in English, Vietnamese, and Mandarin.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong cross- functional collaboration and project management skills.
2- 5 years of relevant legal experience (either in a legal firm or in- house).
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Law Administration, or a related field.
Regional legal and employment law experience preferred but not strictly necessary. A willingness to learn regional legal frameworks is required.
Language Requirements:
Intermediate Chinese (working ability to read contracts/documents and daily communication is required).
Fluent in English (both verbal and written).
