JOB DESCRIPTION
Pricing Support:Collaborate with the sales and procurement teams to provide accurate cost datafor pricing decisions and ensure competitive pricing strategies.
Process Improvement:Identify and implement improvements to the BOM creation process, costcalculation methodologies, and overall cost efficiency in furniture production.
Inventory and Waste Management:Ensure that materials are used efficiently and monitor waste or discrepanciesin the materials to prevent excess costs.
Material Sourcing:Work with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure that materials listed inthe BOM are sourced at the best prices, within quality standards, and deliveredon time.
Cost Forecasting:Assist in budgeting and cost forecasting for production, helping to predictfuture cost trends and identify potential risks.
Compliance:Ensure all BOM and cost analysis activities comply with company policies,industry standards, and any relevant regulations.
Collaboration:Work with design, production, and engineering teams to ensure that the BOM isaccurate and reflects any changes in product design or production methods.
Cost Tracking and Reporting:Monitor actual costs against estimates, track variances, and generate regularreports to inform management about cost performance and areas of concern.
Cost Analysis:Analyze production costs, including materials, labor, and overhead, andidentify cost- saving opportunities without compromising on product quality.
Bill of Materials (BOM) Management:Create, maintain, and update Bills of Materials for furniture products,ensuring accuracy and alignment with production needs and designspecifications.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in BOM management, costanalysis, or production planning, preferably within the furniture industry.
Strong analytical and problem- solvingskills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of furniture manufacturingprocesses and materials.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting,Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Ability to handle multiple projectssimultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Strong communication skills, both writtenand verbal, and the ability to work cross- functionally with various teams.
A proactive attitude with a focus oncontinuous improvement and cost optimization.
