[HCM - DIST.1] TECHNICAL ENGINEER (EXPERIENCE IN GLOBAL FURNITURE SOURCING)

Join in price development and contributing with technical competences.
Draw autocad, render images of products;
Understand design/ trending briefs and proceed with suppliers/ factory to make details drawing, BOM;
Review R&D plans and participate in their revisions;
Research and develop designs and products
Conduct test protocols and procedures and product evaluation;
Join Fair (local or oversea) when job requireed.
Understand all hardlines product categories (indoor, outdoor items);
Lead product and packaging development;
Build all product documentations (technical description, assembly instruction, ...); Work with client’s system to upload related technical documents;
Analize product safety, production capabilities in design;
Provide technical assistance and support to clients and internal team. Address inquiries, resolve complaints, and offer solutions to technical issues or concerns related to products;
Comprehence product regulations and production bottle neck;
Visit and work with suppliers/ factory frequently as job required.

Bachelor&039;s degree or higher in furniture design, industrial design, engineering, or a related field;
Technical Skills is a must: Proficiency in CAD software 2D & 3D (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ...), Render, and other design tools. Strong knowledge of R&D in furniture materials, construction methods, and manufacturing processes;
Good at English; Microsoft skill;
Have at least 2- 3 years working in furniture design, engineering, or manufacturing, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility >> Experience in global funiture sourcing/ global trading business model is a plus;
Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a cross- functional team environment, collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals;
Adaptability and Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities, requirements, and project constraints. Ability to thrive in a fast- paced, dynamic work environment;
Industry Knowledge: Up- to- date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design, manufacturing, and sustainability;
Good know- how in costing is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Ability to review technical drawings, specifications, and prototypes for accuracy and completeness;
