− Participate in all Quality Assurance (QA) routine programs which are assigned by Direct Manager and non- routine programs (investigations and analyses for Operations support and/or Innovations support) as required
− Ensure microbiological methods are applied in complete correspondence with SOP’s and quality requirements; record potential deviations and interpret their impact on the final results; execute corrective actions when appropriate
− Record/interpret analysis results correctly, with respect to method performance criteria, quality requirements, product specifications and legislation
− Ensure equipment is operated according to safety requirements, KORE requirements, and SOPs
− Other tasks are assigned by Direct Manager as required
− Proficient in all experimental techniques relevant to job performance (identifications, water analyses, help with starting- up of challenge tests, sugar analyses, air sampling, etc…)
− Planning of work schedule making optimal use of time (e.g. conduct several experiments simultaneously, etc…)
− Involve in microbiological problem solving/projects/changing...Microbiologist is one of key persons for this task
− Ensure required analyses are performed accurately, in a timely manner and consistent with KORE requirements, good laboratory practices and EOSH requirement
− Perform daily micro analyses as quality plan
− Competent in the use of technical and laboratory software applications necessary to perform the job
− Write technical reports and procedures, SOP
− Ensure complete traceability of results towards samples and requests on the one hand and towards standards and reagents on the other hand
− Communicate effectively with direct manager & colleagues and act as team player to ensure successful operations

− Possesses understanding of basic principles of microbiology; improves knowledge of microbiology through independent study of the literature, participation in research group meetings, seminars and by discussions with other micro technicians, micro analysts or microbiologists
− Computer application proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook…)
− Familiarizes with supervisor- recommended technical literature
− General knowledge in microbiology and chemistry
− In- depth knowledge in the use of instrumentation for quantitative and qualitative microbiological analyses
− Knowledge/application of Good Lab Practices
− BSc Technical (or equivalent*) (Food technology, Quality, Manufacturing, Micro, Chemical, Industrial management,)
−At least 1- 2 working years of experience in laboratory with different microbiological techniques
− Knowledge and experience in QMS, HACCP, GMPs, ISO
− Foundation skill: Teamwork; Commitment to Excellence; Planning, Organization and Execution; Communication skills; Commitment to Development; Knowledge of the Business
− English language skill: Advanced reading skill required
