Presented in Vietnam since 2008 with the launch of LOTTE Mart Nam Sai Gon (District 7, HCMC), LOTTE Mart is considered one of the first foreign retailers to be present in Vietnam. So far, LOTTE Mart has successfully developed with 13 trade centers and supermarkets, covering major cities in the country such as Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Vung Tau, Can Tho, Binh Thuan. JOB DESCRIPTION
Source potential products, dry food from foreign country and select potential supplier in accordance to meet Company’s strategy & customer’s needs.
- Contact to foreign supplier ( EU, Asia, America,...) to source the potential & trendy products with the reasonable price, high quality
- Negotiate to get the best price, best quality and best MOQ, payment terms from others country via internet, online sourcing channel, exhibition, survey market
- Look for new sourcing products, new others supplier to compare FOB/CIF then collect others products on a shipment to saving cost
- Build and maintain good relationship with assigned vendors for the business’ best interest.
Forecast market needs and order plan, allocate products to all stores and solve issue
- Maintain Global Sourcing products inventory in all stores then allocate goods based on sales & stock of each store
- Research, analyze and anticipate the market to identify customer’s needs and product/range opportunities
- Co- work and discuss with others department for launching new products strategy
3. Plan & follow sales activities of Global Sourcing (Promotion for push sale and clear stock, new launching products)- Propose promotion based on shelf life of products and stocks by product by store
- Update list Global Sourcing products on post to Marketing by timeline and main theme; new product to Marketing/O4O/B2B by timeline
- Check product&039;s shelf life to propose promotion to clear stock timely
- Maintain effective internal communications channel particularly with other Category Manager teams, operations, sales & marketing, logistic and other functions within the organization
4. Cooperate with logistics company for clearance customs, delivering and ensure goods quality at warehouse- Cooperate with LOTTE Vina (Logistic company) to register MOH: Request sample for sense test, lab test and product show, documents, so on.
- Support to solve problems: quantity, quality during order processing.
- Follow up and tracking shipment until arrival Vietnam on time then update status to others department for preparation.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree at Foreign Trade, Economic,... or related major
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of import and export processing and documents, import tariff also Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam with others country and economic common.
- Knowledge of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and products, famous brand in the world
Necessary skills:
- Experience within the FMCG sector or relevant Industry with prior experience in the same position (merchandise/buying).
- Self- disciplined with ability to work independently and under pressure
- Strong analytical ability and good in data/ figures
- Planning, organizing work, managing and developing category.
