We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Architect with over 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing Power BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. As a Power BI Architect, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to create scalable and efficient reporting and analytics solutions.

• Solution Design and Architecture:

  • Design and architect robust Power BI solutions, including data models, reports, and dashboards.
  
  
  • Define and enforce best practices for data visualization, report development, and performance optimization.
  
  
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to translate business requirements into effective data models and reporting solutions.
  
  
  
  


• Data Modeling and ETL:

• 
  
  
  
  • Develop and optimize data models to support business requirements and enhance reporting efficiency.
  
  
  • Work with data engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of data sources into Power BI.
  
  
  • Design and implement ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  
  
  
  


• Report and Dashboard Development:

  • Create interactive and user-friendly reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  
  
  • Ensure that Power BI reports are optimized for performance, scalability, and user experience.
  
  
  • Implement custom visuals and DAX calculations to meet complex reporting needs.
  
  
  
  


• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics needs.
  
  
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members and Power BI users.
  
  
  • Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies.
  
  
  
  


• Performance Tuning and Optimization:

• 
  
  
  
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Power BI reports and dashboards.
  
  
  • Optimize data models and queries to ensure fast and efficient data retrieval.
  
  
  • Implement Power BI best practices to enhance the overall performance of the solution.
  
  
  
  


• Training and Documentation:

• 
  
  
  
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users and technical teams on Power BI tools and best practices.
  
  
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Power BI solutions, including design documents, data dictionaries, and user guides.
  
  
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.


• 5+ years of experience in Power BI development and architecture.


• Strong expertise in data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and SQL.


• Proven experience in designing and implementing Power BI solutions for large-scale enterprise environments.


• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is a plus.


• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics). 


• Knowledge of other BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView. 


• Understanding of data governance and security practices. 


• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
