[HCM] SQL Server Infrastructure Engineer (HA/DR)

Lead SQL Server infrastructure upgrades, including operating systems, SQL Server versions, and virtualization platforms, following best practices and minimizing service disruption.
Design, implement, and maintain a highly available SQL Server infrastructure across multiple sites using Always On Availability Group (AG).
Ensure High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) objectives are achieved, meeting defined RPO/RTO targets and maintaining operational continuity after failover.
Ensure all database- related operational processes, including SQL Agent Jobs, ETL processes, batch jobs, and integrations, continue functioning correctly after failover events.

Troubleshoot HA/DR, clustering, and failover- related issues.
Create operational runbooks, technical documentation, and handover materials.
Execute SQL Server upgrades, migrations, and failover activities.
Deploy, configure, and manage SQL Server Always On Availability Groups and WSFC.
Conduct DR drills, failover testing, and validate RPO/RTO targets.
Monitor database availability, performance, and AG synchronization status.

Experience conducting DR drills and maintaining operational documentation.
5+ years of experience in SQL Server Administration or Infrastructure Engineering.
Experience with T- SQL, PowerShell, SQL Server monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Good understanding of Windows Server, networking, and virtualization environments.
English communication skills are mandatory.
Strong knowledge of High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), Backup & Recovery, and Failover processes.
Hands- on experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups and Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC).
Good English communication skills (mandatory).
