JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
This position will focus on sourcing from local and/or oversea to support various projects. You will be responsible for handling the company’s end to end sourcing operations as well as be able to appraise and improve our sourcing activities by analyzing the company’s spending, supplying partnerships and new opportunities. She/he will need to manage the suppliers for daily production issues come up, negotiating for any sudden changes needed for the benefit of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and develop suppliers in commodity categories including Electrical (PCBA, charger, transformer), Technical (mechanical, motor, stamping, machining), Non- Technical (plastic, packaging, molding), and Indirect/MRO.
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, as well as benchmarking and competitive analysis.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to China and around Vietnam.
- Facilitate cross- functional teams to assess and audit candidate suppliers.
- Learn to understand product ranges, price ranges, and capabilities of different suppliers to identify suitable suppliers for development.
- Support the purchasing team in analyzing and leading projects for localizations for the company.
- Support the procurement process by handling requests for quotations, negotiating with suppliers, and recommending the best offers in terms of quality, service, and cost.
- Identify potential savings opportunities and support cost- saving initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical field; Supply Chain Management
- A self- starter with a ‘hands- on’ approach. Able to work under pressure. Eager to drive key initiatives and see them through to successful implementation
- Data Analysis, Power BI skill is a plus
- Positive working attitude and willing to learn
- Preferably in supply chain management functions under manufacturing or consumer goods setting
- Strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills
- Excellent speaking and writing in English & Vietnamese, Chinese is a plus
- Proactive, sensitive to figures and strong analytical and negotiation skills
