Consultant | Insurance Consulting
We are in a strong position to build on our existing client base in the insurance industry. These projects are demanding an increased level of classic consulting skills- more intensive client interaction.
The team will be strengthened by experienced candidates who bring with them or are willing to rapidly develop consulting skills and expertise in the effective business application.
Your Key Responsibilities
Play a role in team administration tasks- such as feedback, counseling, finance, recruitment, learning, etc
Play your part in the development of the intellectual property to support sales- oriented client interaction;
Assist in responding to client proposals;
Present or assist senior management in presenting to clients at senior executive and board levels;
Contribute to projects as a topic/subject matter specialist (where appropriate);
Assist in the technical delivery and reporting for projects, taking ownership of at least one major workstream;
Assist in the dialogue with client contacts and help to manage expectations of delivery, content, timescales, and cost;
To qualify for the role, you must have:
Bachelors’ degree in Accounting & Audit, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Management (or equivalent) discipline.
One or two years of experience in life insurers, banks or other financial sectors
Strong analytics, computer skills and knowledge of Excel is required
Strong communication, presentation and MS Power Point skill
Ability to develop, present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
Ability to work under pressure and commit to deadline
Ideally, you must have:
Strong interpersonal and problem- solving skills
Well discipline and work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating team members on progress
Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
