Overview of the job role:
The Intern/Volunteer for Public Engagement Program supports the VinaCapital Foundation’s public engagement, including media networks, campaigns, and fundraising events. In particular, the intern will support in implementing the media plan in order to ensure the delivery of high- quality media coverage of VCF’s advocacy, campaigns, and events. Besides, the intern will assist in executing VCF’s events.

Create content for VCF collaterals such as brochures and introduction videos…
Research, create, deliver, edit, and optimize communication materials for media networks, campaigns, and fundraising events.
Participating in event organization, including preparing materials, taking photos, providing on- site support, etc.
Make sure that VCF is appropriately presented to all stakeholders – partners, public, volunteers and media during events.
Create content to maintain an official website and social media outreach (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
Translate social post contents, press releases from English to Vietnamese and vice versa.
Key results expected from the intern/volunteer towards the end of the internship/volunteer time:
Support the preparation and implementation of VinaCapital Foundation’s events and each program’s activities with communications materials
Develop inspiring stories highlighting the lives of children and families that VCF has supported directly and indirectly through our programs, to put on social media and the website
Support to increase interaction for VCF&039;s social media: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn
Support the Public Engagement Program with a quarterly marketing report
Specific Working Conditions:
Ability to work under pressure in a professional working environment;
Capacity to work as part of a team
Adhere to a smart casual dress code suitable for the workplace (No flip- flops, ripped jeans, or shorts).
Work under the direct supervision of members of the Public Engagement Program.
Ability to prioritize and show initiative
National and International volunteers are expected to work at the office
Capacity to work independently with limited supervision.
Intern/Volunteer Requirements:
Level of Study: Undergraduate and/or Bachelor&039;s
Educational Background: Major in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, International Relations, or similar fields
Time commitment: Minimum of 2 months, with part- time availability (at least 20 hours per week); full- time availability (Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day) is a plus. Duration: 2 to 4 months.
In- person attendance in Ho Chi Minh City is mandatory. This is a key requirement for the position.
Skills:Experience in digital marketing and event organization is a plusFamiliarity with the non- governmental and non- profit sector in Vietnam is a plusGood communication skills in Vietnamese and EnglishGood interpersonal skills and a keen eye for detailProficiency in visual content production, such as photos, videos, and designs, is a plus.
Number of Positions Available: 1–2 interns/volunteers will be selected for this intake.
