JOB DESCRIPTION
1.
Before class:
Review previous lesson content with providedmaterials
Set up classroom and organise the classroom resources before the students arrive
Be readyin class 30 minutes before the lesson starts
Collect student’s workbookto check and correct student’shomework
2.
During class:
Encourage and assist students when havingProject lessons, without doingtheir work
Support teachers to demonstrate classroom activities so that studentsunderstand what they have todo
Motivate children to tidy up at the end of the lesson to keep their bags organized and ensure the classroom and resources are ready for the nextclass
Help teacherswith attendance check and deal with latecomers by arranging their seats
Help students to communicate in English as much as possible and speak Englishat all times, except when themessage cannot be conveyed in English
Monitor students during lessonto make sure that they are on task and maintain strong student management based on theteachers expectations
Spend a few minutes with teachers confirming thelesson number/content/activities
Be responsible for children at break times and before, after and between classes
3.
Fulfill admin tasks:
Upload dailyreport (attendance, homework, teaching records)
Deliver students to the lobby
Orally translate duringmeetings between teachers and parents when necessary.
Deliver students’ homeworkstatus to teachersafter class
REQUIREMENTS
Possessing IELTS/TOEIC is preferred
Have a compassionateand positive attitude in teaching/education
Be able to workon weekends and weekday evenings from 5pm – 9pm
Be willing to work with children andyoung teenagers
Have excellent command of English, especially pronunciation and grammar
Strong writtenand verbal communication skills.
Interview will be conducted online. Successful candidates can start working after the Lunar New Year
