Quality Control Intern

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be involved in software testing activities under the guidance of the QC Lead:
• Perform manual testing, identify defects, document bugs, and track issue resolution throughout the development lifecycle
• Conduct basic API testing using Postman to validate data accuracy and business workflows
• Participate in testing Web and Mobile applications to ensure product quality before release
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts (BA), Product Owners (PO), and other stakeholders to verify defects, perform regression testing, and ensure sprint quality
• Learn and apply modern QA methodologies such as Risk- based Testing and Shift- left Testing
• Utilize AI tools to generate test cases, create test data, analyze logs, and improve bug reporting efficiency
• Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) to design test cases and test scenarios

REQUIREMENTS

• 4th- year students majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
• Strong logical thinking, attention to detail, and analytical problem- solving skills
• Good communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams (Dev – BA – Product)
• Ability to write clear, structured, and easy- to- follow test cases • Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing (Postman)
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts, including SDLC, STLC, test case design, and the bug life cycle
• Understanding of the software development process and the role of QC in software projects
