Head Barista

Position Overview: As the Full time Head Barista, you will be responsible for overseeing the day- to- day operations of our coffee bar, creating and maintaining an inviting atmosphere for customers, and leading a team of skilled baristas. This is an exciting opportunity for a coffee enthusiast with a strong background in specialty coffee and a passion for creating memorable customer experiences. .
Responsibilities:
• Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of coffee beans, ensuring proper storage, freshness, and adherence to brand standards.
• Customer Engagement: Interact with customers to provide an exceptional experience, share coffee knowledge, and handle any customer inquiries or concerns.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies, and place orders as needed.
• Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise the barista team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. But most importantly lead by example.
• Menu Development: Collaborate with management to develop and update the coffee menu, introducing new and innovative offerings based on industry trends. Seek to always improve and innovate.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including cleanliness and hygiene in the coffee preparation area.
• Coffee Craftsmanship: Lead by example in crafting high- quality espresso- based beverages, ensuring consistency and Specialty coffee standards.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a barista in a specialty coffee environment at least 2+ years of experience.
• Understanding of inventory management and cost control.
• Ability to work in a fast- paced environment and handle high volumes of customer traffic.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Creative mindset with passion for coffee and an interest in contributing to menu development.
• Fluent in both Vietnamese and English (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, such as Precision Grinding, Espresso Extraction, pour over, cold brew. But also control over milk texture and latte art.
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
