Report directly to senior management on infrastructure performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives.
Develop and implement strategies for managing and optimizing on- premise infrastructure (servers, networks, data centers).
Lead the adoption of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring, to enhance system efficiency.
Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve on- premise systems and potentially transition to hybrid or Cloud solutions.
Manage and mentor the technical team, fostering high performance and collaboration.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams (Product, Business, etc.) to align infrastructure solutions with business goals.
Ensure system security, compliance, and adherence to industry standards for on- premise environments.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience in roles such as Head of Tech, Tech Manager, Tech Leader, or equivalent, with a focus on on- premise infrastructure and DevOps.
For candidates from the banking sector, experience at the Team Leader or Deputy Head level in technology divisions, specializing in on- premise infrastructure or DevOps.
Proficiency in DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes) and on- premise infrastructure management (servers, networking, storage).
Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire technical teams.
Deep understanding of system security, infrastructure management, and industry standards.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross- functional teams.
Preference for candidates with experience in large- scale on- premise infrastructure or digital transformation projects.
