Head Of Ecommerce

In the role of Head of E-commerce, you will be responsible for managing the day to day running of our websites, as well as exploring new opportunities to fuel growth in revenue, and maximize profitability across our full product range. Working closely with tech, marketing and marketplace teams, you will optimize all aspects of our web, managing consumer marketing campaigns to deliver a best-in-class e-commerce platform.

✅ The scope of work includes:

Utilize Ecommerce site analytics to optimize core journeys and iteratively improve core e-commerce metrics (conversion rate,..)
Monitor and analyze product performance trends to inform and execute product & marketing strategy
Lead the efforts on creativity and innovation in our product strategy and marketing approach to drive the business performance
Systematically analyze and report sales results, expectations, market and trends to make proactive product/range development recommendations.
Lead our product team, develop and execute an effective product strategy to improve our e-commerce platform traffic and sales performance
Lead our Marketplace team, develop and manage our marketplace platform globally by expanding merchandising offers as well as enhancing our marketplace features to capture more vendors and sales
Oversee our digital marketing team to drive revenue growth and maximize the profitability of our website

The right individual will be a real self-starter, comfortable in taking a leading role in developing our e-commerce platform to match the same world-class standards set across the business. You will be comfortable working with data to track performance and identify opportunities.

✅ Other requirements to be considered for the Head of Ecommerce role include:

Highly analytical data skills to draw insights
Experience in product development, especially in e-commerce platforms
Commercially minded and able to spot and execute opportunities for growth and increased profitability
Experience overseeing and driving growth in North America is a plus
Experience in driving customer experience, growth, and engagement
Familiar with a start-up mindset when building a fast-growing business and is not afraid of “getting down to the details&039;
Strategically minded and able to devise and communicate a long-term e-commerce strategy
5+ years of experiencemanaging and developing e-commerce websites
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively influence colleagues cross-functionally
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, continually adapting environment with moving targets
An enthusiastic, determined, and ambitious individual who is willing to take on a big yet exciting challenge with huge potential for personal growth
In-depth and practical experience in building and growing an online marketplace, focusing on North America and EU markets
