Head of Hospitality Trainer

• Organizing, administering and keeping attendance records and assessment results of all students according to academic policies.
• Developing and retaining training and assessment materials as required.
• Provide advice/assistance to students in the preparation and services for both internal and external events.
• Providing administrative direction and management for all hospitality-related programmes delivered in Vietnamese.
• Demonstrating skills/techniques in hospitality related areas and function set up wherever required.
• Delivering Hospitality subjects/units either as stand-alone programmes or units within the Advanced Diploma in Hotel Management and Certificate of Hotel Operations
• As a Member of the Teaching & Learning Committee, attend meetings and provide and speak to reports and activities of the Committee.
• Delivering other programmes commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• Coordinating and managing works of teachers in team.
• Delivering After-School and Excursion programs directed at school-aged children.
• Delivering Hospitality units within the Certificate III in Hospitality [in English] is an advantage.
• Ordering materials and ingredients for hospitality classes according to Pegasus procurement procedures.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum 5 years’ teaching experience and/or significant industry training experience.
• English at IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
• Teaching Certificate, or the preparedness to obtain such qualification upon appointment.
• Bachelor of Hospitality or Hotel Management or equivalent qualification. Master degree is an advantage.
Knowledge
• Strong knowledge of international hospitality services and practices
Skills
• Well-developed lecturing and presentation skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a diverse work setting.
• Ability to use a range of computer software to support teaching and learning.
• Able to demonstrate quality hospitality job-related skills.
• High level of oral and written communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
• Vietnamese only
