Head of Internal Audit

• Comprehensive management, direction, and operation of the Internal Audit (IA) department.
• Develop and implement the internal audit strategy, including planning the annual IA plan based on risk assessment aligned with REE's operational and development strategies.
• Lead the execution of Internal Audit's annual plan, overseeing steps to audits, on-site audits, audit reports, and monitoring recommendations implementation in accordance with regulations and professional standards.
• Evaluate the risk management system and provide recommendations to enhance the efficiency of REE Group's risk management.
• Assess the internal control system and offer recommendations to improve the efficiency of REE Group's internal control.
• Proactively update significant risks and relevant controls to the Board of Management and the Board of Directors through the Audit Committee.
• Participate in regular meetings of the Board of Management to provide timely updates on the company's performance.
• Coordinate with Independent Audit to optimize the efficiency of IA and audit financial statements.
• Periodically or unexpectedly report and share information with the Audit Committee and Board of Directors on assigned scope and responsibilities.
• Provide expertise support to the Internal Control & Risk Management Department to ensure efficient and reliable operations of the Internal Control & Risk Management system.
• Lead the "Operational Transformation" Project to assist the General Director in controlling and operating the project successfully.
  

• 8 or more years of experience in auditing or accounting, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Auditing; Certified Internal Audit (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
• Preferably hold QIAL (Qualification in Internal Audit Leadership).
  

• Trained and experienced in internal audit, with the ability to act in compliance with current Vietnam regulations.
• Thorough understanding of legal regulations and best practices of internal control and risk management in Vietnam.
• Knowledge of professional standards related to accounting, finance, management reports, and other regulations in Vietnam.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
