Head of Merchandising - Vietnam

About the job:
- You will build and lead a team of professionals to drive and increase and empower existing purchasing teams.
- Coordinate and cooperate with various departments involved in the work to achieve the goals that the company has set.
- As part of our growth strategy in ASEAN, we are looking to recruit a high caliber team leader to lead Vietnam Merchandising team.
- You will need to work closely with senior management and team members across the region.
- Based in Ha Noi and report to Active Omni-channel Director.
Job Description:
- Create profitable & sales and strategize in terms of branding your own products to suit and differentiate yourself from competitors.
- Responsible for recruiting, developing, motivating and rewarding all direct reports and manage team&039;s performance, strengthen and develop their functional knowledge in order to increase efficiency.
- Analyze and see the trend direction of the products in the market that are suitable to meet the needs of customers both in the present and future to be in line with the company&039;s strategy.
- Manage the products at the level that is suitable for the sales during each period and plan to purchase order product fit for accordingly in each period.
- Planning and negotiating with suppliers to achieve the best benefits for both the company and the supplier.
- Understand landscape of key players, technology and behavioral trend to initiate new ideas, formulate innovative business model as well as formulate vendor strategy to leverage and capture opportunity in the increasingly connected ecosystems.
- Strategize products to be in line with the Vietnamese market to serve the existing channels and new sales channels that will occur in the future direction of the building material / home & living product & solutions platform and localized products for Vietnamese market.
- Responsible for creating and achieving personal & team’s quarterly & annual OKR targets.
- Product management such as expired products, slow moving products.

Requirements:
- Understanding or basically know in building material and home and living products.
- Fluently in English with at least 3-5 years of experience in Merchandising, Procurement, consulting, project management or other related areas.
- Work location in Ha Noi with 6.0 working days/week and able to travel all nationwide.
- Able to know the source of selling products from various sources around the world will be an advantage.
- 35-45 years old
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Product Management, Business Administration, Engineering/IT, Marketing, or any related fields.
- Prefer to learn new things and be able to adapt well to various situation that will happen.
- Interpersonal skills for communicating, negotiating, influencing internal and external stakeholders.

- Salary Range 2,500 - 4,000 USD/month (gross)

Working hours: daily hours (From Monday to Saturday), 2 probation months
