The Head of Operational Excellence is a leadership role in our organization, responsible for initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, quality, and compliance. This role involves collaborating with various departments to design, establish, and refine processes that drive operational excellence and support the organization&39;s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of process improvement methodologies, outstanding leadership, and a track record of delivering measurable improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Process improvement: identify opportunities for operational improvements across all levels of the organization; utilize lean and other process improvement methodologies to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality while ensure compliance
Leadership: lead the Operational Excellence department, which comprises of Business Process Management and Operational Technologies teams; set strategic goals and objectives that align with the organization&39;s vision; develop and implement a roadmap for operational improvement initiatives across the organization
Innovation and technology: stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements (including AI) that can drive operational improvements; evaluate and recommend new technologies or systems that support operational goals
Performance metrics: develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of operational processes; use data- driven insights to make strategic decisions and continuous improvements.
Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and drive change.
Experience with change management principles and methodologies.
A minimum of 8- 10 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Experience as a process consultant in a Big Four company is a plus
Bachelor&39;s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master&39;s degree or professional certification in Process Improvement is highly desirable.
