With this Head of Production position, we are seeking potential profiles for our partner, MARINE BIOTECH VIETNAM, an international company active in the field of Marine Bioprocessing: manufacture of functional powder ingredients for feed, food and pharmaceutical markets.
This role is responsible for:
- Directing the plant production activities and leading the production team to produce and ship quality products to meet business & customer requirements.
- Coordinating and leading industrial investment projects for the plant.
- The implementation of continuous excellence and total performance programs for the plant.
- You may also be required to assist (as and when applicable) in warehouse operations and activities.
Planning and Organizing:
- Continuous improvements focus/delivered results on: Safety, Low Cost/High Efficiency, Renovation/innovation, and Product Availability.
- Controls and effectively utilizes the production capacity, manpower and equipment, and outside resources through planning, organizing, and scheduling to minimize losses.
Resolving Problems:
- To be capable of making timely and knowledgeable decisions as needed when operations and employee issues arise and take necessary action.
- Interprets policy and decides the best course of action in problems of quality, scheduling and interpretation of engineering requirements, particularly where interdepartmental contacts are involved, to maintain efficient operations.
Communication:
- To communicate all pertinent information and to appropriate persons in a timely manner.
- Participates in company planning through budget preparation, capital expenditure recommendation, manpower and space forecasting.
- Coordinates with the Supply Chain Department to provide production and shipment of quality products to fulfill customer requirements.
ESG & leadership activities
- Ensure development of staff – through performance management, training planning and coaching. Through development staff, ensure effective and efficient management within operations.
- Has immediate responsibility for the Safety & Environmental activities performed by supervisors and employees:
Consult with the plant Safety/Environmental Management Representative as necessary to fulfill program requirements.
Review all accident and incident investigations with the objective of taking action to eliminate future occurrences.
Assures that activities performed having an environmental impact are communicated and accomplished as outlined in the plant’s environmental program.
Assures that Safety activities are communicated & accomplished as outlined in the plant’s safety program.
Assures that the supervisor involved properly investigates all injuries, incidents and accidents as they relate to safety or the environment.

• Production planning.
• Engineering and maintenance.
• All direct production operations.
