Head Teacher

1. Hiring and Training
- Coordinate with HR in recruitment, coordination, guidance and training of foreign English teachers according to the company’s development and professional requirements.
- Do post-training evaluation.
2. Program development & deployment
- Coordinate & Develop the English program as required.
- Be up to date on changes and trends in English teaching in order to adjust and/or modify the current English program.
- Deploy approved plans and programs throughout the kindergarten chain.
3. Management, Operation, Supervision and Evaluation
- Oversee all foreign English teachers’ professional activities in all campuses.
- Request foreign English teachers to provide reports periodically or as required.
- Supervise, perform periodic (semi-weekly) and unexpected class observations and provide comments to ensure professional quality in English classes. Make suggestions, plan of actions and report to higher management together with the group leader and the school board.
- Be involved in the evaluation and review process of foreign English teachers according to company policies.
4. Reporting - Perform weekly, monthly report and as requested in a timely manner.
- Make timely report and seek directions for issues outside your authority.
5. Other works- Perform work as requested by the supervisor:
+ Perform training as requested by the supervisor.
+ Provide support for foreign English teachers or take over the class when they are on leave.
+ Provide translations for meetings, conferences, transactions and/or interviews, etc. for the Board of Management (if you can speak Vietnamese).
- Advise the BoD, report to the BoD to seek directions when there are issues outside your authority or when you are unable to provide an optimal solution.
- Take part in professional trainings as required.
- Personal development.
- Coordinate with other departments.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- TESOL, TEFL (or equivalent)
- At least 5 years of experience in teaching English in kindergartens or other schools.
- At least 2 years of experience in a managerial post (e.g. Team leader, group leader) in an educational organization.
2. Competence, skill and attitude
- Ability to manage, oversee and handle difficult situations
- Ability to deploy the programs and train staff.
- Ability to interact with other departments.
- Ability to think, work independently and responsibly.
- Word-processing, presentation and reporting skills
3. Other requirements
- To be able to go on work-related trips as required.
- Multi-tasking
