HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
You are responsible for assisting the Head of HR in implementing HR strategic planning and ensuring that HR management aligns with the hotel and corporate&039;s overall strategy. You will participate in the development and improvement of the hotel&039;s human resources policies, procedures, and regulations, and execute all aspects of HR management, including team member relations, labor dispute handling, and ensuring compliance with all HR activities. As an Assistant Human Resources Manager, you’re not just supporting the daily operations of the hotel’s HR function – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
As the Assistant Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Enhance team member engagement: Help coordinate recognition programs, special events, and engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture
• Strategic planning skills: To understand the hotel&039;s overall strategy and translate it into concrete action plans for human resource management.
• Support daily HR operations: Assist in recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, team member relations, labor relations, compliance, safety, and performance management, ensuring compliance with corporate HR policies and federal/local regulations
• Manage HR systems and reporting: Oversee team member data entry, track employment transitions, maintain training and corrective action records, and generate reports on key HR metrics
• Inspire and develop the team: Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment
