The Research Collaborator will assist in the execution of Research Team:

• Conducting desktop research, and using books, journal articles, newspaper sources, questionnaires, surveys, polls, and interviews to gather data;

• Search for and research specialized materials and information revolving around Open Innovation & Startup Ecosystem.

• Collaborate with the Organizing Committee to develop content for programs within the project (workshops, webinars, training, etc.).

• Develop detailed content for documents, reports, and tools used in the project.

• Any other responsibilities as may reasonably be required.

• Having good time management and task management skills; good at writing, reading, and synthesizing skills from reference materials & computer skills and familiarity with Google Sheets/Docs/Slides

• Having logical thinking and the ability to analyze and organize scientific data.

• Having good writing, reading, and synthesizing skills from reference materials.

• Proficient in the use of English.

• Having relevant experience in scientific research is an advantage.

• Perform preliminary analysis of potential engagement- company and market research, financial and valuation analysis;

• Manage the daily activities of sell-side & buy - side engagement;

• Build and/or review financial models, including business plan;

• Synthesize research information such as comparable company and precedent transactions to be used in modeling, competitive analysis, industry analysis;

• Prepare and/or review quality pitches, marketing materials, management presentations and client presentations;

• Oversee data room and manage an investment process for buy and sell side engagements, working closely with client and the target buyer/seller;

• Identify and explore potential new engagement; Attend trade shows/networking events to source Mergers and Acquisitions leads;

• Establish long-term relationships with clients and partners through ongoing communication and face to face meetings;

• Perform administrative activities in support of engagements, including: NDA documentation, engagement agreements, time budgets and billings.

• Majoring in finance, business or a related discipline

• Strong communication skills with ability to build relationships and work confidentially, independently as well as in a team

• Strong English Written and verbal communication skills

• Strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Candidates with graphic design and market research skills are preferred.

• Character, ambition and drive to succeed within a dynamic industry are critical

• A passion for working with startup business and management teams

• Pre-existing understanding of investment process, terms and conditions will be an advantage

• Monthly allowance of 1,995,000 VND for full-time applicants and 1,000,000 VND for part-time applicants.

• Duration at least 3 months for full-time and 4 months for part-time.

The Clients & Partnership Executive on Market mechanism will assist in the execution of Business Development  for our company on Startups penetration/ expansion and Corporate Innovation Sourcing Services:

• Working with the Business Development Manager and other members to actively search and connect startups with potential clients who are seeking innovative solutions.

• Searching information and contact to related partners in innovation ecosystem, include suppliers, corporates, venture capitals, accelerators, incubator, etc. as required to develop business

• Proceeding the production, distribution and mailing of information to partners.

• Working in the development of new partnerships by research, preparation for meetings, pitches and proposals

• Preparing required documents, proposals, MOUs, agreements, etc.

• Search and connect corporate clients with suitable innovation providers based on clients’ demands.

• Prepare and compile contents to introduce, discuss and consult clients about suitable market solutions based on their demands via official documents, emails and presentations.

• Implementing partnership programs and activities to achieve business development goals 

• Conduct extensive research on industry peers; industry developments, business and investment opportunities and regulatory developments in order to optimize consultation process and services’ quality.

• Search information and contact to partners, suppliers, corporates, startups, etc. as required to develop business

• Develop new partnerships by doing research, preparing for meetings, communicating and presenting pitches and proposals to partners. 

• Find new partners and develop partnerships with suitable projects of business. 

• Support BOD in the execution of Partnership Strategy to achieve business goals. 

• Any other responsibilities as may reasonably be required

To be considered, applicants should have the following minimum qualifications:

• Candidates with 1-2+ years of experience in Finance/ Business Development/ Partnership, or related fields.

• Working experience in/with startups is a big plus.

• Business acumen to understand business risk and challenges, and recognize corporate opportunities.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a robust environment.

• Ability to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results.

• Excellent presentation, communication and relationship building skills.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Vietnamese and English.

• Monthly salary for full-time applicants: 8M-10M VND (depending on experience and qualifications).
