Intern- Market Access – Health Economics | Hanoi
Strategic Opportunities
- Policy & Health financing analysis: The intern will be responsible for conductingresearch, synthesizing information, and preparing reports and presentationsrelated to the following areas:
- Systematic Review of Reimbursement Policies: Conduct a systematic reviewof reimbursement policies in Vietnam and selected reference countries, with afocus on support mechanisms, decision- making drivers, and trends in HTA(Health Technology Assessment) adoption.
- Health Financing Initiative Development: Support the development of aninnovative health financing initiative by benchmarking global financing models,assessing local feasibility, and contributing data- driven recommendations toinform strategic direction.
- Reimbursement Listing Process: Gain exposure to the end- to- endreimbursement listing process in Vietnam, including mapping of listing criteria,understanding evidence requirements, and supporting analysis of key decisionfactors.
- Other MA projects: Assist other MA team 2026 projects to enhance patientaccess and optimize business processes.
- Health economics research support: Conduct literature searching and datascreening for economic, epidemiological, and burden- of- disease evidence.Support extraction and synthesis of data informing value stories, cost- impactdiscussions, and health financing analyses.
Learning Outcomes
- Clearly explain the end- to- end reimbursement listing process in Vietnam,completion of a structured reports and presentations summarizingreimbursement insights and strategic implications
- Conduct structured literature searching, data screening, and extractioncontributing to health economic research. Demonstrated accuracy andreliability in screening and extraction tasks, have ability to articulate howeconomic evidence contributes to value arguments and decision- making
- Submission of a presentation, identify key elements such as support models,decision drivers, HTA adoption trends in reimbursement with comparisonsacross countries. Identification of at least 3–5 insights or recommendationsbased on policy analysis.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the health financing models and contributeevidence- based inputs into the draft model development
Required Skills/Qualifications?
- Relevant fields of study: Pharmacy, Medical Doctor, Public Health or otherHealth Science- related degrees
- Language: Strong reading and writing proficiency in English is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities with agenuine interest in Patient Access.
- Self- motivated, detail- oriented, proactive, eager to learn; management skills ina fast- paced environment and strong communication and collaboration withcross- functional stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel andPowerPoint.

- PAP (Patient Assistance Program): is one of the most critical access levers inself- pay market.
- Other MA projects: Assist other MA team 2026 projects to enhance patientaccess and optimize business processes.
- Data governance and performance monitoring: review and monitor data ofPAPs in maintaining audit- ready document structure.
- Project Documentation & Governance enhancement: consolidate operationalrecords into structured Project Document Repository, documentstandardization & stream- line process.
- Through a PAP more patients can have access to JNJ’s innovative medicines.Hence it is essential to maintain a robust and efficient operating model toensure timely patient access. The candidate is expected to demonstrate astrong project management capability and manage growing patients’ volumeand operational complexity.
- Transition from Manual to Digital operating model: Change readiness andmaintain deployment tracker and milestone log.
- Access solution Initiatives: Support the exploration, assessment and initiationof access solution initiatives to enhance patient access to J&J innovativetherapies.
- Cost Control to be aligned with approval baseline.
