Housekeeping Trainee will be required to conduct their duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained.
• Clean glass in public and employee areas.
• Clean public and employee restrooms and showers.
• Vacuum carpets and performs floor care duties (e.g., in guest rooms and hallway).
• Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms.
• Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances.
• Fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area.
• Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items.
• Learn to respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional way
• Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering.
• Clean and maintain lights.
• Post caution signs to limit traffic when necessary.
• Clean bathrooms.
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
• Inspect condition of furniture for tears, rips, and stains and report damages.
• Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order.
• Dust surfaces in assigned area.
• Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items.
• Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
• Empty trash containers, ashtrays, and ash urns in public areas into proper containers.
• Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs.
• Make beds and fold terry.
• Clean floor surfaces in public or employee space using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment.

Able to work full- time

Good communication skill in both Vietnamese and English
