Vision Mentors provides students with guidance of school curricula, academic English proficiency for competitions and tests, weekly time management, skill building, physical exercises and fun activities. Mentors are responsible for assisting in academic guidance to reach target grades/scores for each semester and year. For students who have low English fluency, the main goal will be to increase overall English foundational skills: vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, essay writing and speaking. For fluent English speakers, mentors will guide students to reach higher academic and professional goals.
Nam Tu Liem Center: Shophouse building, Vinhomes West Point, Do Duc Duc Street, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi.
Hours of operation during school terms: 2- 9:30pm weekdays, 9am- 8pm on weekends.
FULL- TIME/PART- TIME TEACHING ASSISTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION
Work at least 12 hours per week for the part- time position and up to 40 hours per week for the full- time position.
Assist teachers with lesson preparation by getting materials ready and setting up equipment.
Prepare instructional materials, test papers, scorecards, handouts, and other materials necessary.
Mark attendance of students and prepare weekly and monthly attendance reports of every student.
Observe the participation of students in individual and group activities.
Examine answer books, homework, assignments, and performance of students in other activities
Revising lesson material with students individually or in small groups.
Ensuring the classroom environment is safe and clean.
Overseeing students during non- classroom times including in- between classes, during lunch, and on- field excursions.
Collaborating with lead teachers to recognize issues students are facing and recommend solutions.
Documenting student progress and communicating with parents to keep them informed.
Performing other duties as needed or required.
REQUIREMENTS
Patience and empathy.
Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace; knowledge of designing software and educational tools is an asset.
An intermediate level in Korean (TOPIK 4 or above) is an advantage.

IELTS 6.5 or higher, or any equivalent qualifications. If you do not have any, you will have a brief assessment during your interview.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Work up to 40 hours per week
Work with students to map out their weekly, monthly, and semester schedules and deadlines.
Assist students in creating study guides for their school courses and assist in completing assignments and studying for quizzes and exams.
Create academic and professional roadmaps with target goals after discussions with students and parents.
Help students grow in confidence and motivation in their studies and professional growth.
Guide students in developing 2 to 3 actual skills that can be used to create a portfolio or to get a job.
Prepare students for competitions.
Participate in extracurricular activities and student outings.
Other duties as assigned by Vision Mentors.
REQUIREMENTS

Strong academic understanding of English and humanities/science subjects.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching students at various levels.
Language requirement: A high level of English is a must (equivalent to IELTS 7.5 or higher), and speaking Korean is an advantage.
Education level: Bachelor&039;s Degree or above in Education, Social Science, Languages, etc.
Ability to work in groups and exhibit teamwork.
Strong organizational and problem- solving skills.
