This is a great opportunity for Hotel Accountants with English communication skills looking for an opportunity to work in purely English environment
Escarpment Group encapsulates the essence of regional luxury travel in Australia. With substantial growth in intrastate travel for leisure, conferences, and events, we are looking for full time Hotel Accountants for our Office in Ho Chi Minh City – Vietnam to support our Accounts team in Australia.
- Ensure Hotel internal controls are maintained, and management policy & procedures are upheld by working with all Heads of Department; and
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions for the Hotels.
- Oversee the accurate completion of the month- end process.
- Assist the Financial Controller in preparation of weekly & monthly management reports.
- To undertake the day- to- day functions of the Accounting Department to ensure all accounting functions including payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable are carried out in a timely & efficient manner.
- Daily credit card and general ledger reconciliations for our hotels in Australia.
- To assist and support the Financial Controller in ensuring the Hotel profit targets are achieved through the control and monitoring of costs.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of statutory financial information to the Group Financial Controller.
- Focus on performance analyses and consequent process improvements.

- Experience in using hotel industrial with hotel systems: Opera, POS Micros Symphony, RMS, SUN Accounting System… is a plus.
- Candidates must be fluent in English both spoken and written with a minimum 6 IELTS for all components.
- Excellent computer skills.
- At least 2- year professional work experience in all aspects of Hotel accounting; or overseas students/accounting professionals who possess relevant Australian qualifications and work experience are also invited to apply.
