Housekeeping Attendant

Collecting and delivering guest linens, emptying rubbish, sweeping all staircases and the corridors in the morning. Assisting the maids for loading and unloading all heavy items and moving cleaning equipment etc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows the policies and procedures of the hotel and housekeeping
Cleans and polishes all the plants containers and replaces all indoor plants from and to rooms
Polishes all wooden skirt at the floor corridors
Helps room maids for all heavy- duty work in guest room, such as moving in/out the carpet cleaning equipment and moving the rollaway
Hoovers and spot clean all corridor carpets
Cleans all walls, skirts, mirrors, entrances and guest lifts
Scrubs the back staircase and floors weekly
Cleans the ashtrays and washes the marble chips on the corridor floors and guests entrances
Removes the rubbish from maid&039;s pantry room to the garbage bed on the lower lobby floor
Carries the dirty linens and laundry trolley up and down from the laundry dept. twice a day

CRITERIA:

Vocational Certificate or on- job- training
Minimum 1- 3 years in similar position in international hotels
Detailed knowledge of working practices of housekeeping
