Mô tả công việc

- To immediately attend and action to guest requests.
- To ensure that all Departmental Operations Manuals are prepared and updated annually.
- To participate, if necessary, in the formulation of the Annual Marketing Plan and implement with each workplace manager and Sales & Marketing Department effective sales and promotional activities to maximize revenues.
- To organize inventories with Accounts and General Store for linen, uniform, and fixed assets.
- To organize on- the job training and evaluate its effectiveness.
- To ensure that no defects or dirty rooms are sold to guests.
- To ensure that the Housekeeping Department team projects a warm, professional and welcome image.
- To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Talents Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health, and Safety.
- To prepare reports for management information.
- To ensure that the Department’s Operational Budget is strictly adhered to.
- To have a complete understanding of the Income Audit Section in the Operations Manual and Policies & Procedures.
- To prepare monthly schedule resources accordingly.
- To be available and on duty during peak periods (frequently opening and closing the operation).
- To respond to any changes in the Housekeeping Department function as dictated by the hotel.
- To work closely with Guest Relations and Engineering Department to ensure that rooms are blocked accordingly for maintenance.
- To monitor all costs and recommend measures to control them. To establish an integrated cost management plan through product lining, minimal inventories, joint procurement with sister hotels and Delivery on Demand where possible and cost- effective.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- To ensure that each Housekeeping supporter plans and implements effective training programs for their staff with the Training Manager and Departmental Trainers.
- To always provide a courteous and professional service.
- To be responsible for cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of the entire Hotel.
- To maintain par stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and uniforms.
- To ensure that each place of work in the housekeeping department is managed by a Management Team (Manager / Assistant Manager) who are totally accountable for their expenses and profitability.
- To assist the Purchasing department in selecting suppliers for items related to Housekeeping.
- To handle guests and talents inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to Executive Assistant Manager if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.
- To pay particular attention while organizing pest eradication activities.
- To ensure that all talents always provide courteous and professional service.
- To ensure that rooms are made as per hotel standards.
- To set, in close conjunction with each Division supporter annual operating budgets, which will form part of the Hotel’s Annual Business Plan.
- To develop and implement housekeeping systems and procedures
- To prepare Annual Housekeeping Budget.
- To ensure that deadlines on all projects are met.
- To ensure that all the housekeeping department is managed efficiently according to the established concept statements and adhere to hotel standards.
- To coordinate the preventive maintenance schedule of rooms and public areas with the Engineering Department.
- To ensure that the departmental cost and expenses is well controlled and share the financial responsibility with the Guest Relations department.
- To attend and contribute to all talent meetings Departmental and Hotel training scheduled and other related activities.
- To implement a consistent guest recognition program and maintain a relevant guest database.
- To undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by the Executive Assistant Manager
- To monitor service and rooms standards in all work place. To work with Guest Relations Manager, Executive Assistant Managers, Chief Engineer and other operation departments to take corrective action where necessary.
- To ensure that all daily V.I.P. rooms, Special request rooms, and long stay guest room for arrivals are checked and in line with the standard set- up by the hotel.
- To conduct yearly performance appraisal and give talents regular feedbacks on their job performance.
- To provide daily inspection of public areas and talent locker rooms.
- To fully support the Departmental Training Function in the Department assigned.
- To always project a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self- control.
- To prepare weekly work schedules in accordance with workload and priorities for approval by the Executive Assistant Manager.
- To conduct frequent and thorough inspections together with the Executive Assistant Managers in Housekeeping Department related to standard and cleanliness of the hotel.
- To develop departmental trainers, assign training responsibilities and meet with Departmental Trainers monthly.
- To be demanding and critical when it comes to service standards.
- To attend and resolve guest complaints.
- To ensure that all meetings are well- planned, efficient, and results- oriented.
- To monitor all costs and recommend / institute measures to control them.
- To ensure that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel&039;s Talents Rules & Regulations and adhere to the hotel&039;s policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health, and Safety.
- To provide daily briefing of with the Housekeeping team and Operation team.
- To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with staff in the outlet and all other departments.
- To always project a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self- control
- To establish a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationship and handle all guest complaints, requests and enquiries on rooms and hotel related service and product.
