- Report maintenance defects in guest rooms and common areas to Engineering Department and follow up.
- Perform setup of guest’s in- room amenities (arrival, VIPs, special occasions, pre- departure) as per established standards.
- Lead the work of Room Attendants and ensure the established standards of cleanliness, assuring team work and coordination of efforts among colleagues in accomplishing tasks.
- Prepare a checklist, rooms assignment, follow- up tasks/responsibilities, and scheduled meal breaks of Room Attendants to use during their daily duties.
- Provide feedback on colleague performances and report well- deserved recognition or disciplinary issues to Assistant Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Manager.
- Assist in training and constantly coaching the colleagues to ensure their performances meet for the task requirements.
- Supervise, and assist, deep cleaning and any other projects assigned by Assistant Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Manager.
- Ensure Room Attendants are equipped with all needed supplies and tools to complete their duties.
- Submit to Housekeeping Manager regular reports on operating supplies & equipment and required equipment repair.
- Supervise and inspect the room cleanliness, condition, maintenance, functionalities of in- room guest devices and facilities.
- Ensure all equipment and machinery are cleaned and maintained in good condition and stored correctly.
- Respond to guest requests, handle issues and complaints regarding guest room cleanliness or maintenance. If cannot be handled, escalate it to higher managers immediately.
- Report unusual behaviours/activities of any personnel in the resort premises to Assistant Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Manager.
- Raises job order to Engineering department for repair and maintenance work.
- Work with Assistant Housekeeping Manager/Housekeeping Manager to prepare weekly work schedules, making sure that they reflect business needs and other key performance indicators.
- Liaise closely with Florists regarding floral arrangement in guest rooms.
- Maintain positive guest and colleague interactions.
- Comply with the resort’s health, safety and hygiene policies and adhere to conduct personnel grooming and hygiene standards.
- Make recommendations/suggestions related to operational requirement to Assistant Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Manager.
- Maintain constant awareness of safety issues, such as wet floors/broken glasses/frayed electrical cords/water leaks, in public areas and take immediate follow- up actions in coordination with concerned departments to resolve the issues.
- Comply with the Lost & Found policy and procedures of the resort.
- Have full knowledge of all resort’s products and facilities with operating hours.
- Report any breakage/damage and loss of property in guest rooms and facilities to Assistant Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Manager.
- Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
- Logs daily events in Supervisor’s Logbook and follow- up on information reported by the other Supervisors daily.
- Report accidents or injuries (for both guests and colleagues) to the Regent Service Centre immediately and keep Assistant Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Manager informed.
