Pursue the operational goal by carrying out all assignments tasked by a senior employee
Follow department policies, procedures and service standards.
Attend necessary training sessions as required by a training manager in accordance with any training plans
Lead with passion and enthusiasm with a commitment to excellence and a creative approach.
Meet with employees on a regular/irregular basis and manage their work and any distress they may be experiencing.
Identify the progress of maintenance and repair work by the Engineering department and report to a manager.
Use professional and polished language in all written and oral communication.
Adhere to hotel grooming standards at all times.
Follow the company&039;s brand standards and code of business conduct.
Frequently inform employees of compliance with training regulations and any changes in the training policy.
Carry out the duties of the manager in his/her absence.
Enter and locate work- related information using computers and/or point of sale systems
Maintain adequate staffing and distribute tasks according to the room occupancy rate.
Write reports on the condition of guest rooms.
Follow all safety policies.
Oversee the use of supplies in the department and maintain a clean and tidy environment.
Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments.
Manage employee work hours in an efficient manner in compliance with applicable laws.
Stand for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
Inspect and manage guestrooms for which cleaning is completed based on 5- star standards.
Execute service and work training for employees as needed.
Keep informed of the company&039;s values and ideal conduct. Act accordingly.
Ensure the implementation of the highest standards in guest service, constantly seek out ways to improve product and service as well as increase volumes and profits.
Oversee for cleanliness, organization and housekeeping/maintenance standards

Maintain proper posture while at the desk and work area.
Inspect the tasks distributed among employees and confirm their completion.
Comply with personal information protection regulations for customers and employees.

Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must be knowledgeable about applicable laws regarding the operation of hotels and restaurants.
Must show understanding of, and proficiency in, equipment and fixtures used in the operation of guest rooms.
Possess operational knowledge of the Housekeeping department within a 5- star property
Must possess basic computer skills.
Must be detail oriented
Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to receive instructions and make reports with accuracy.
