Primary responsibilities:
Floor closets and neatly stock according to diagram.
Organize work duty priorities.
Stock linen carts with clean linen and supplies. Transport linen carts to
Transport to dish room glass washer and wash glasses. Return clean and capped glasses to floor closets in racks.
Ensure security of any assigned keys and beeper
Remove all dirty linen from assigned Room Attendants&039; carts and closets.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets; remove trash, wipe down
Shelves/counters; sweep and wax floor; remove non- floor closet items and transport to proper storage areas.
Clean designated areas with proper chemicals, tools and equipment:
Check under furniture for debris and remove if present.
Stairwells
Guest vending areas
Floor closets
Service corridors
Guest laundry room
Inspect condition of all furniture for tears, rips and stains and report damages to
Guest room floor corridors
Elevators, tracks and landings
Supervisor. Dust and polish all woodwork.
Handle guest complaints to ensuring guest satisfaction.
Polish all brass surfaces to a high gloss.
Report any damages or maintenance problems to the Supervisor.
Remove stains, scuff marks, and dust from baseboards, ledges and corners.
Inspect condition of planters and plants; remove debris, polish planters.
Successful completion of the training/certification process.
Turn over any lost and found items to the Supervisor.
Transport guest laundry and dry cleaning to correct guest rooms.
Remove trash; debris and cobwebs from balconies/patios.
Ensure confidentiality of hotel guests.
Remove dust on drapes weekly and realign to correct position daily.
Empty vacuum cleaner bags, replace and clean machines.
Ensure security of guest room access and hotel property.
Remove dust, dirt, marks and fingerprints from doors and door frames.
Dust pictures, frames, mirrors, fire extinguisher boxes, exit signs, air vents.
Administrative Responsibilities
Stock Housekeeping department supplies.
Make up cribs and rollaway beds; transport to designated rooms.
Turn mattress and box springs according to rotation schedule.
Install cleaned or new drapes.
