HSE Assistant Manager

Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to promote and sustain a safe work environment in order to avoid and minimize Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) related problems. These problems include but are not limited to the prevention of human injury and unsafe working conditions/practices. This position will manage and oversee the HSE to achieve the operational objectives for Pistachios factories in Tien Nga B11 and An Phuoc- Long Thanh
Specific Functions, Additional duties will include but not be limited to the following:
· Support and maintenance for emergency team (First aid, Fire team…);
· Develop all drill activities in HSE: Chemical spill, confined space entry, cold room, evacuation drill, fire drill...meet ofi requirements and legal requirements
· Carry out or arrange workplace safety inspections and ensure that any treatment recommendations are implemented.
· Implement and execute global ofi and regional safety programs for facilities and processes to grow safety culture of zero incidents and achieve world class performance in safety.
· Develop and monitor training programs to meet safety requirements.
· Conduct root causes of incidents and take corrective actions.
· Ensure all HSE reports to local authorities adequately and on time.
· Implementing Safety documents and ensure facilities meet legal requirements.
· Plan HSE budget for facility.
· Conduct Safety Induction training for new hire, visitors and contractors and refresh training.
· Ensure submit data and make reports on time and analysis on current safety objectives and metrics.
· Conduct risk assessments, actions to reduce risks as per Hierarchy of control and review it annually.
· Contact point with the local authorities for Health and Safety related matters.
· Supervising to ensure that contractors, suppliers, consultants and other irregular visitors comply with HSE policies and Audit standards related to HSE, Safety and Social Compliance;
· Planning and development annual Safety Campaign

Authority:
Have authorization for permit to work issuers and other persons perform specific high- risk activities.
Stop work whenever unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and/or near misses occur.
Have authorization for HSE as per legal requirements

Qualification, Competencies Requirements
Education: Graduated from College, University with specialization in HSE or related field.
Experience: at least 5 years of relevant experience in HSE for manufacturing companies, FMCG companies.
