Mission Statement
Contribute to effective risk management and improving Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) performance in respective area of responsibility.
• Regulatory compliance
Supports managers and employees to ensure area of responsibility is compliant with HSE standards, regulations and guidelines. Prepares safety instructions and notices and assists with relevant training.
• Risk management
Conducts HSE audits and workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and risks and highlights corrective measures required.
• Operations
Supports implementation of HSE objectives, incident investigations and root cause analyses within the respective organization.
• Continuous improvement
Collects, analyses and reports on HSE performance, identifies problems and makes suggestions to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
• Communication and engagement
Collaborates with managers and employees in order to report on, raise awareness and gain commitment for HSE initiatives and performance.
Additional:
Reports HSE incidents. Feeds back on lessons learned and best practice from own unit and across Hitachi Energy to management and employees.
Ensures appropriate safety equipment and tools are available and used. Identifies, plans and initiates training need, e.g. for employees, site managers, and agree with, and ensures delivery of required training.
Facilitates Safe Work Instruction, HSE risks assessment by line management involving shop floor employees, i.e. those directly concerned by the hazards, and ensures all processes are implemented.
Assists Business HSE manager in achieving all target & objective of the business.
Implements Hitachi Energy HSE & Sustainability Operating System. Ensures area of responsibility is audited according to program for audit. Assists line managers and supervisors in understanding obligations, liability and how to fulfil their roles, according to local HSE law and Hitachi Energy Group policy, instructions and standards.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Education: At least College Degree in Labor, Health, Safety or Environment. Relevant mechanical/electrical background is acceptable.
- Experience: At least 3 years recently working experience in similar position or technical position in a manufacturing industry environment, especially in global company is prefer.
- Skills: Fair English, IT & Good communication
- Specific knowledge: well understood about High- risk activities such as Safe working with Electricity, working at height, Hand safety, Mobile equipment, Lifting or Confine space, etc.,
- Other: Honest, hardworking
