The Human Resources Manager is responsible to ensure the effectiveness of managing the human resources department on a daily basis by ensuring administration and people development systems, company policies and procedures are followed while maintaining a high degree of employee satisfaction.
Employee Selection
• All employees selected meet the essential requirements of the employee specifications for their position
Training & development
• An active talent spotting program is in place to support succession planning and career growth for shining employees
• Employees passing probation period have been trained in all essential tasks as per self- leadership assessment form
• General training classes are scheduled, delivered and recorded.
• Training plans for all employees are prepared, implemented and regularly updated
• HODs conduct & record training efforts which are consolidated in monthly reports.
• All employees know the company core values and have received a company induction.
• English training is delivered to all employees in line with established training plans.
• Employee performers and high potentials have access to further professional and personal development training as per training plan
Coaching & performance review
• All employees complete a self- leadership review and attend a formal performance review before the end of their probation
• On job performance is regularly observed and assessed informally. Good performance is acknowledged, poor performance is coached
• All direct reports receive a formal annual performance review prior to contract renewal
Employee Movement
• All employee movements are controlled, recorded and reported
• Manning guide is planned, implemented and controlled at all times
• All paperwork for new employees and resigning employees are done as per standard of the resort and government regulations
• Recruitment is done in timely manner, interviews are arranged and followed up
Employee care
• Weekly employee care reports are sent out to the management
• Employee care program is in place and employee care manager is assigned
• Manning guide, human resources budget and plan is prepared for the yearly budget according to the business development and strategy
• Vietnamese Labour Law is followed and understood by all Heads of department.
Administration & Reporting
• Disciplinary action is taken and reported according to the company regulations
• Monthly payroll is prepared, accurate and in time as per company standard and government regulations
• Employee care standards are followed up strictly
• Monthly reports for management, government tax officials and insurances are sent out in time
• Employee files are updated, controlled and accurate at all times
• All employees are insured at all times as per company regulations
Other Duties
• Licenses and government requirements are collected, understood, monitored and acted upon under the guidance of the General Manager and Owning Company.
• The in- house clinic & first aid programs are rolled out and controlled in line with company regulations
• HR software is in place, understood and used appropriately
• Contacts and relationships with local organizations (such as schools, universities, trade unions, labor departments etc.) are established and maintained.
Other duties are performed as assigned by the Head of Management.
