WHAT’S THE JOB?
As a Human Resources Supervisor (Activities) you will be responsible for the daily tasks related to Employer Branding & Internal Activities. This position holder is also responsible for supporting line manager with required related reports, joining and may lead importants projects related to Employer Branding & Internal Activities. This person will work with HR and other department’s colleagues to support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
YOUR DAY- TO- DAY
People
- Manage everyday activity, plan and assign work ensuring you always have the right staffing numbers
- Liaise with Trade Union for related employee activitives.
- Ensures clear lines of communication exist to disseminate information affecting employer- employee relations, employee activities and hotel policies and programmes.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments
- Recommend or initiate any HR elated actions where needed
- Handling employee relations, welfare and benefits such as, duty meal at canteen, birthday, welcome, farewell, recognition programs.
- Train colleagues to make sure they deliver with compliance and to the standards we expect
- Supporting manage operation of clinic and nurse’ duty
Guest Experience
- Ensures all staff are aware of company benefits and make these available.
- Participates in developing and implementing programmes to ensure employee security and safety.
- Maintains effective communications at all levels of management and staff.
- Assists the Human Resource Manager/ Director (HRM/HRD), where appropriate, in the development and preparation of the Hotel’s Strategic Plan, Marketing Plan and Goals Programme
- Assists in maintaining and creating a positive atmosphere within the hotel that allows for open two way communication that ensures morale and productivity reach the highest possible levels.
Financial
- Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on labour costs, benefits related (healthcare, canteen, activitives….ect)
- Mitigate financial risks associated with employee relations issues
Internal Activities:
- Collaborate with cross- functional teams to gather feedback and improve future events.
- As the Internal Employee Activity Supervisor, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing various employee engagement and wellness initiatives within the organization. Your primary objective will be to foster a positive work environment, enhance employee morale, and promote a healthy work- life balance. This role requires creativity, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of employee needs and interests.
- Organize and execute a wide range of employee engagement events, such as team- building activities, holiday celebrations, and wellness workshops.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, and entertainment, to ensure seamless execution of events.
Wellness Program Management:
- Develop and manage wellness programs aimed at promoting physical and mental well- being among employees.
- Partner with external vendors and health professionals to offer educational sessions, fitness classes, and other wellness initiatives.
- Monitor participation and assess the effectiveness of wellness programs through employee feedback and data analysis.
Employee Recognition Programs: Develop creative ways to celebrate and implement employee recognition programs to acknowledge outstanding performance, milestones, and contributions.
Communication and Promotion:
- Act as a liaison between employees and management to ensure their voices and suggestions are heard and considered in activity planning.
- Create compelling communication materials, including newsletters, posters, and emails, to promote upcoming events and initiatives.
- Utilize internal communication channels, such as intranet portals and social media platforms, to engage employees and generate excitement.

• May assist with other duties as assigned by management
• Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure, to participate in any hotel activity related to Fire Life safety
