Coordinate with other property personnel such as electrician, carpenter, painter, and night engineer in completing service, replacements, alterations, and new installation work Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Coordinate with, monitor, and supervise outside vendors to resolve large- scale engineering problems (e.g., unresolved A/C problems, internet problems, telephone problems).
Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment (e.g., chillers, heat pump and PAU, FCU, PAU), including charging refrigeration systems (e.g., freezer, cold storage, fridge), replacing air filters, and cleaning coils.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials.
Maintain and conduct daily inspections of the mechanical plant. Monitor and control property temperature. Monitor and analyze energy and utilities usage. Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, and other equipment. Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring. Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, etc. Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.
Attains all refrigeration and AC trouble reports on daily basis. Guest room trouble is given priority.
To assist in the day to day engineering operation. To keep all equipment in good re air with a minimum of down time by providing day to day maintenance of the hotel under the direction of Engineering Management. To continually support the engineering services that effectively address problems affecting both guests and associates.
