As a Hygiene Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient management of the hotel’s hygiene and food safety standards in line with Hyatt International’s Corporate Strategies and brand requirements, whilst meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations. The Hygiene Manager functions as the key guardian of Food Safety Management Systems (HACCP, ISO22000), ensuring compliance across all hotel operations. You will oversee audits, inspections, and training programs, making sure that hygiene practices contribute to the overall success of outlets, rooms, and banquets, in accordance with the hotel’s standards and financial goals.
• Conduct hygiene audits, inspections, and laboratory testing across F&B, Rooms, Spa, Fitness, and Engineering.
• Organize and deliver hygiene and safety trainings for staff.
• Oversee pest control, chemical programs, and sanitation standards.
• Work closely with all departments to ensure compliance with local hygiene regulations and hotel standards.
• Report regularly on hygiene performance, defects, and improvement plans.
• Manage and maintain Food Safety Management Systems (HACCP, ISO22000).
• Support guest and employee inquiries related to hygiene, ensuring positive experiences.
