Income & Gaming Audit Officer

Position Summary: The Income & Gaming Audit Officer is responsible for conducting daily audits of gaming and non- gaming revenue, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards. This role involves preparing audit reports, reconciling transactions, and collaborating with other departments to resolve discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of auditing principles.

Conduct daily audits of gaming operations, including slots, table games, cage, and VIP gaming.
Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies and attendance guidelines.
Complete month- end duties, including account reconciliations and journal entry adjustments.
Assist the Income & Gaming Audit Supervisor in managing ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned by casino management.
Review and consolidate shift reports, prepare revenue and audit reports, and ensure timely submission.
Perform audit procedures on F&B outlets&039; revenue transactions and reconcile invoices billed by leased outlets.
Ensure audit checklists are up- to- date and diligently followed.
Assist in quarterly and periodic audits, including cash counts, card audits, unscheduled machine counts, key audits, physical cage counts, and slot audits.
Communicate audit exceptions to operational departments and document findings.
Prepare outlet revenue POS reports, cash overage/shortage reports, and other necessary audit documentation.
Ensure all revenue records are accurate and discrepancies are promptly reported and resolved.

Requirement:

High level of integrity and professionalism.
Basic understanding of accounting and auditing principles and practices.
Experience in the hospitality industry with computerized PMS and POS systems (e.g., Micros Opera and Micros Symphony) preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant computer applications.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience in accounting/auditing, with specific experience in income audit preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
