Industrial Engineer – Routing system

* JOB SUMMARY- Develops work measurement procedures and directs time- and- motion studies to promote efficient and economical utilization of personnel and facilities: Directs or conducts observation and analysis of personnel and work procedures to determine time- and- motion requirements of job duties.- Analyzes work study data and equipment specifications to establish time andproduction standards.- Applies mathematical analysis to determine validity and reliability of sampling and work study statistics.- Applies principles of industrial engineering and applied psychology to evaluate work methods proposals and to develop recommendations to management affecting work methods, wage rates, and budget decisions.* ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Using the standard rates to calculate the rates for routing creation and maintenance- Manage rate standard, assure that plant uses the correct, accuracy standard.- Improves productivity, efficiency.- Set up and control Work center on master power link- Check and control Eff of these items have been transferred from WV on the AS400- Mapics option & correct them if it were wrong- Communicate with incentive data disposing assistant to ensure pay is calculated by using the correct rates in routing- Thorough understanding of Fabrication processing and assembly method- Thorough understanding of the relationship between bill of material (BOM) and routing in MAPICS environment.- Strong ability to understand and query information in the Mapics environment- Perform other jobs which are assigned by IE Supervisor

* Education- Required: College degree or above, preferred Industrial Management, Mathematics.* Experience- Time study engineer in various of industries, preferred garment / Furniture processing.- Building up standard time based on time study as well as pre- determined system like GSD.* Knowledge of- Good command in English, both oral and written- Good at Microsoft office/exel/powerpoint...- Knowledge on ergonomics, Lean, quality, line balancing.- Have wide knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, efficiency- Strong background in use of computer* Skills and Abilities- Ability to work under pressure with constant deadlines- Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize work.- Dependable- Detail and accuracy oriented- Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments
