The role in as part of the APAC Data & Analytics Hub is critical in Heineken to operationalise our strategy of standardised and scalable data foundations across the region and enterprise. The role holder will lead the reporting, data analytics and insights efforts for Heineken’s APAC region. You will work with various stakeholders across the region to identify business needs, gather data, and use data analytics and reporting to provide insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.
Key responsibilities:
• Stakeholder engagement & management (Regional/Opco business functions including sales, finance, marketing, supply chain and shared services/Opcos/Global) for requirement gathering & finalization, dashboard design, status updates, business signoffs etc.
• Work with various internal teams, including data management, to ensure data quality and accuracy by conducting data validation, cleansing, and enrichment processes.
• Develop insightful business analyses, that provide measurable value, business process improvements and solve challenging business problems.
• Be a trusted business advisor and problem solver.
• Gather and analyse data to provide insights and recommendations to various key stakeholders across the organisation.
• Be responsible for project and task prioritisation and capacity planning.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with cross- functional partners from Global Analytics, Analytics Hubs, and various Operating Companies within Heineken regionally and globally.
• Develop and validate the appropriate metrics to measure success for a given problem.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain documentation on data structures and data flows to support the analytics team and stakeholders in their work.
• Need to stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in data analytics and share knowledge with the team.
• Participate in strategic planning and decision- making related to data analytics and data management in the hub.
• Use different analytics techniques such as descriptive reports, diagnostic dashboards, machine learning and predictive modelling to provide deeper insights and recommendations to solve critical business problems.
• Use design- thinking processes to develop analytics assets for business consumption.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with cross- functional partners from engineering, data science, analytics product manager chapters.
• Design experiments and pioneer methodologies to measure the value of analytics projects that you deploy.
• Develop and maintain data models and schemas that support efficient querying and analysis of various data sources.
• Present outcomes of analysis to all levels of the company.

Qualifications/ Experience / skills required:
• 2+ years of management experience.
• 8+ years in a BI or analytics role.
• MSc/PhD in a quantitative related field; equivalent work experience accepted.
Must have:
• Exposure with Relational Database Management Systems (Eg: SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle DB).
• Exposure with the Data Visualization and Reporting tools like Power BI/Tableau/Spotfire.
• Experience working with a large development team (CI/CD).
• Exposure with Microsoft BI Stack (SQL Server DB, SSIS, SSAS).
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritise projects and deliverables multiple projects across the team.
• Proven experience in managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Exposure with Data Transformation, Cleansing and Ingestion using the tools like SQL Server Integration Services, Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Tabular and Multi- Dimensional Data Models.
• Exposure with DAX.
• Experience working in an agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, etc.). Experience working with JIRA.
• Highly proficient in MS Office.
• Experience with Data Models (Star Schema and Snowflake Schema).
• Strong communication, project and stakeholder management & structured problem solving.
• PowerBI architecture, capacity & costing knowledge.
• Able to translate analysis and conclusions into actionable recommendations that deliver business value.
• Exposure with Microsoft Cloud services like Azure Synapse/Azure SQL DB/Azure Data Factory/Azure Analysis Services.
Nice to have:
• Experience in FMCG/Beverage Industry.
• Experience in data analysis, machine learning or related field.
