Interior Designer

Design guideline principle
- Follow and update the design guideline to ensure following franchisor standards for each business units and local needs related to design.
- Develop the framework to mornitor and maintain the design standard of all Bus related to spectification of materials, typical detail standard of all items in design package.
Initial Feasibility Design
- Conduct the existing layout plan for potential site (if needed).
- Conduct the feasibility layout plan of the future sites or properties.
- Join the site survey and conduct the reports for existing layout plan and photos with space availability analysis.
Concept and develop the drawing
- Coordinate with internal team and business function to review, revise and update the design before presenting to management for review and approve.
- Develop design documentation from initial concept stage through to construction stage (concept design, 2D, 3D…).
- Work with internal team and external vendors to produce the construction documentation (IT design, Marketing Design, MEP drawing, Firefighting drawing).
BOQ preparation
- Manage and control changes related to design during tendering and construction phase.
- Work closely with Site supervisor to conduct the BOQ based on the approved design to ensure having all necessary elements like: quantity, quality, list of materials….
- Maintains current knowledge of trends and materials, techniques, and other developments in interior design.
- Manage and establish the approved design package (2D/3D/MEP/FFP/IT/MKT) for tender processing accordingly.
- Build and maintain a BOQ template for making the standardized specs for both franchises.
- Understand and recommend the source of materials to meet the standard specification.
Project coordinator
- Participate in all phases of process from feasibility to tender and construction follow- up.
- Work closely with the internal team to ensure the design is correctly built, able to adapt to any construction on site changes.
- Ensure all the drawings will be stored properly in both hard copy and digital channel.

Required Competencies
- Result- driven
- Confident in taking a brief from design concepts to construction documentation
- Great organization, planning, and problem- solving skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and visual to convey ideas and seek solutions
- Good with time management, competent on producing and reading construction drawings
- Good knowledge of local procedures and market for supplies
- Advantage for those who understand well the Design Process, Construction Process
Qualification and Experience Required
- Bachelor of Architecture degree or interior design degree required
- Knowledge or 3D Max would be a plus
- Proficiency of Auto cad, Sketchup and Photoshop
- Proficiency Revit is a must
